We always love getting out of the house, especially where animals are involved! This day we actually left the house to go to Ingleton waterfalls, but on the way (and since we were both rather tired) we remembered that we haven’t been to Bowland Wild Boar Park for years! So we had a change of plans and went there instead.Continue reading
This may not be the start of the planning, but it is what we have planned and paid for so far. Okay so when we came back from Florida we had instant blues that made us want to go back ASAP. However we don’t have the money to go back to Florida so we have opted for Disneyland Paris. We did book this Paris holiday last year (2018), I’ve been meaning to do this post ever since!!
“Yes!” is the short answer, but then that wouldn’t be much of a blog post! If you’ve never heard of Icee, then let me explain with this extract from the Icee Wiki page…
“The Icee Company is an American beverage company located in Ontario, California, United States. Its flagship product is the Icee which is a frozen carbonated beverage available in fruit and soda flavors”
We’ve visited a lot of theme parks recently, so have come up with some top tips that should help you get the most from your day, get the best value for money, and have a great time! Feel free to comment if you have any other tips!
It’s annoying when you have a free weekend and want to go out but you’re not sure where to go. We get this sometimes, where we try our hardest to think of new places to go to, or things to do and we resort to Google. But sometimes even Google doesn’t really help us.
So we’ve created a list of places in the Northwest of England where we enjoy going, or resort to when we have no-where else to go. So if you’re bored or want to go somewhere new, try out these places. We have visited all of the places on this list so if there are any questions feel free to ask us!
How exciting is this?! We are actually here in America, after a 9 hour flight. Our first official night was spent unpacking and shopping at Walmart for a few bits for our apartment for breakfast and snacks. That went really well and we were amazed and just kept on adding to the trolly because all the ‘American’ sweets were really cheap (of course, we are in America after all).
So our first proper full day started with a 5:30am wake up – even though we planned to have a lie in – we both just woke up and sat there wide awake questioning whether to get up or not.
Legoland is a favourite of ours, we enjoy the park and it always makes for a great day out. If you want to go with kids it is fantastic! You do not have to stay at Legoland, we stayed in Maidenhead which is only a 10 min drive (and significantly cheaper). This was our last day and we knew that we would be going from Legoland back to Liverpool. Legoland is included on our Merlin Annual passes, and last time we had them we went to Legoland several times that year, though it was a lot easier when I was living down there and we didn’t have to pay for a hotel.
After waking up (and not wanting to get up), having a lovely full cooked breakfast (and maybe some pancakes as well, got to be ready for the day) and checking out of the hotel we left for Legoland. It is only about 10 miles away from the Maidenhead Premier Inn, so we would recommend it if you’re wanting to go to Legoland and it not cost you a fortune!
