As explained in our previous post ‘Why Denny’s Diner?‘ we enjoy dining at Denny’s and we love the journeys we have to make to physically get there too. This post is going to be all about our experience at Denny’s Glasgow. I will tell you now that our recent visit was gifted, as Denny’s very kindly paid for all of our food. However we loved Denny’s before this, and we still love them! We would have still visited Denny’s and we would have still posted this blog even if we had paid for the meals ourselves.Continue reading
Denny’s Diner – Americas Diner – is a great place to go to eat. You can have breakfast all day long, which means there’s never a bad time to order pancakes! You don’t have to want breakfast to eat at Denny’s and thats why we love it. If you’re craving a nice cooked breakfast with pancakes on the side but your friends want a burger or a chicken skillet then great news… Denny’s offer all of these options and more, check out their menu here.Continue reading
This may not be the start of the planning, but it is what we have planned and paid for so far. Okay so when we came back from Florida we had instant blues that made us want to go back ASAP. However we don’t have the money to go back to Florida so we have opted for Disneyland Paris. We did book this Paris holiday last year (2018), I’ve been meaning to do this post ever since!!
Better late than never? The end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 have been a little harder than we’d have liked but that shouldn’t stop the blogging! This post is a little insight into what we are going to do and what we would like to do in 2019.
We hope you all have a fantastic year!
We went for a little trip to get into the festive mood; seeing some Christmas markets! We went down to the south UK to see Christmas markets in Winchester, Southampton and London. We love seeing the Christmas lights and eating caramelised nuts and sautéed potatoes! (We basically go for the food).
So part one of our Berlin blog was primarily about what we budgeted for Berlin, and an overall of what we did/what was going on while we were there.
Part two of our Berlin blog is going to be what we did, what we would recommend and any tips that we would suggest for you if you’re planning on visiting Berlin.
“Yes!” is the short answer, but then that wouldn’t be much of a blog post! If you’ve never heard of Icee, then let me explain with this extract from the Icee Wiki page…
“The Icee Company is an American beverage company located in Ontario, California, United States. Its flagship product is the Icee which is a frozen carbonated beverage available in fruit and soda flavors”
Due to living in the North of England, getting to places such as Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures isn’t easy to do as a day trip. So just like we did back in October, we decided to go and spend a few days visiting the different parks with our Merlin Annual Passes.
The plan was:
- Warwick Castle on the way down (Saturday),
- Chessington World of Adventures (Sunday),
- Legoland (Monday),
- Thorpe Park and then straight home (Tuesday).
We call it the ‘Dog Cottage’ because we go once a year to a cottage that allows you to take your dogs with you and we take 2 dogs; a chihuahua and a labrador.
We looked at a cottage that was near to some nice walks that us and the dogs could enjoy, it also helps to stay active and not be shopping. We had several requirements that included; a fenced garden so the dogs cannot get out, nice clean and spacious cottage, 2 bedrooms and a large garden.
Since discovering The Gallery at the Odeon cinema, I find it hard to watch a long film (2 hours or longer) without sitting up there. It’s not the cheapest option, so we only sit up there when there’s a good film out such as the new Star Wars films or Avengers or a film we have been wanting to see for a while.
This has to be my favourite way to watch any film, our most recent visit wasn’t the best however there wasn’t anything that would stop me from going up there again.
