When we went to Disneyland Paris we wanted to spend a day actually seeing Paris. So we did just that, we got up went down to the train station and this is where the day started.Continue reading
During our first visit together to Disneyland Paris, we decided to book through Magic Breaks as the website offered the best prices at the time of booking. After some deliberation we decided to stay at the Newport Bay Club hotel. There are many hotel choices available to you when staying close to the parks, so have a look at all of them and decide what’s best for you. They do vary in offerings and prices fairly significantly, so do some proper research before you pick one.Continue reading
Having been to Disney World Florida last year, we wanted our next Disney fix and so we decided on Disneyland Paris! This post is all about what we did in the parks, the crowds and the fireworks/parade.Continue reading
This may not be the start of the planning, but it is what we have planned and paid for so far. Okay so when we came back from Florida we had instant blues that made us want to go back ASAP. However we don’t have the money to go back to Florida so we have opted for Disneyland Paris. We did book this Paris holiday last year (2018), I’ve been meaning to do this post ever since!!
Better late than never? The end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 have been a little harder than we’d have liked but that shouldn’t stop the blogging! This post is a little insight into what we are going to do and what we would like to do in 2019.
We hope you all have a fantastic year!
We’ve visited a lot of theme parks recently, so have come up with some top tips that should help you get the most from your day, get the best value for money, and have a great time! Feel free to comment if you have any other tips!
We thought we’d share a few of our best photos from our visit to Orlando earlier this year. Our gallery includes photos from Disney, Universal, Clearwater and more!
So we haven’t yet done a post about our experience flying with Virgin, this is because we wanted to do both journeys together. In this post we will include: inflight entertainment, the food, the staff and how the flights were generally.
This day should be packing, checking out of the hotel, feeling like you’ve forgotten something and heading for the airport.
Well we did our packing 2 days before, because we knew the night before we would be to tired. So it was just a case of putting in the last bits like clothes we’d worn, make up, brushes, toiletries etc. Then do a scan of the place to make sure we have everything, and leave a final tip for housekeeping (we put all the drinks and stuff we had left that hadn’t been opened in a pile on the dining room table along with a cash tip).
The Sheraton Vistana Villages – International Drive, (not to be confused with the Sheraton Vistana Resort) is where we decided to stay for our 2 week trip to Orlando. This is a large villa complex located on international drive, midway between both the Disney and Universal theme parks.
The drive from Orlando International Airport (MCO) took about 30 minutes, and the route is fairly straight forward. You will most likely go via a toll road, but this wasn’t a problem as our Alamo car rental included the Sunpass facility.
