just as the title says, we did 44 rides in 3 days! That’s a lot of rides, in fact on the second night when I closed my eyes my body felt like it was swaying. We did 12 rides on day 1, 17 on day 2 and 15 on day 3; and we will be telling you how we did all of this below. If you want to watch what we did a short video is here!Continue reading
On Thursday evening we were gifted a visit to Gandeys Circus in their Big Top tent! We were invited to see the show and choose to go on an evening (mainly because we both work full time), we also went on a Friday evening last year and had this to say about our experience. However for this years latest update, carry on reading below.Continue reading
So it’s felt like forever since being in Alton Towers (November 4th), and we decided we wanted to go to opening day because we miss being in the park. It was a very successful day for us, and as well as telling you what we did we will also be detailing how we got the most out of the day below: Also check out our video of the day here.Continue reading
Soon all the theme parks in the UK will be open again for the season. Places such as Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Chessington World Of Adventures are already open. This post will include our hints/tips for going to the theme parks and what we like to do/prep before we go.Continue reading
We always like to go somewhere new, have a little adventure and see what we can find in the UK. This week we asked Twitter where we should go and @BritVoyage (her blog is here) suggested the Forest of Bowland. I didn’t realise we had been there before, but only a small part of it, so I had a little look online at what is there and well, this is what we did…Continue reading
No matter where we go whether thats a; day trip, holiday, staycation, road trip, anywhere, we have 10 things that we ALWAYS carry with us. Now this isn’t an exhaustive list, it also isn’t the only things we carry (some things are day/holiday dependant), but it is a list of our personal essentials. The reason for this list is a simple ‘what do you not like to leave the house without?’ Feel free to answer that question in the comments. 🙂Continue reading
As explained in our previous post ‘Why Denny’s Diner?‘ we enjoy dining at Denny’s and we love the journeys we have to make to physically get there too. This post is going to be all about our experience at Denny’s Glasgow. I will tell you now that our recent visit was gifted, as Denny’s very kindly paid for all of our food. However we loved Denny’s before this, and we still love them! We would have still visited Denny’s and we would have still posted this blog even if we had paid for the meals ourselves.Continue reading
Denny’s Diner – Americas Diner – is a great place to go to eat. You can have breakfast all day long, which means there’s never a bad time to order pancakes! You don’t have to want breakfast to eat at Denny’s and thats why we love it. If you’re craving a nice cooked breakfast with pancakes on the side but your friends want a burger or a chicken skillet then great news… Denny’s offer all of these options and more, check out their menu here.Continue reading
We like to fill January with random days out, especially with ‘January Blues’ it is nice to stay busy. So we randomly came across this ‘secret nuclear bunker’ online – we sometimes just Google ‘things to do in …….’ and pick an area just to see if there’s anything we’ve not done.
The Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker is a former government-owned nuclear bunker located at Hack Green, Cheshire.Continue reading
This may not be the start of the planning, but it is what we have planned and paid for so far. Okay so when we came back from Florida we had instant blues that made us want to go back ASAP. However we don’t have the money to go back to Florida so we have opted for Disneyland Paris. We did book this Paris holiday last year (2018), I’ve been meaning to do this post ever since!!
